TJ Master has over 20 years of business development experience in the Media, Telecommunications, Aerospace, Defence & Government sectors. TJ has driven growth through innovative and strategic programs for his company and clients such as AeroVironment, the world’s largest manufacturer of Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems where he was instrumental in its India market entry and selection as a pathfinder project for the US-India Defense Trade & Technology Initiative.
TJ was Senior Vice President at Startec Global Communications, a telecommunication company, where he drove multiple phases of growth from startup to IPO and its successful sale to a private equity firm. He has built and managed over $100 Million in annual revenue and led sales, marketing, customer service and product development organizations in the US, Canada, UK & Europe.
At Startec, he implemented pioneering efforts such as generating VoIP traffic to emerging markets resulting in Startec becoming one of the largest global VoIP networks in 2000; implementing a global Cloud based customer service infrastructure; and leveraging large data sets of transactional and profile data for customer segmentation, targeting and predictive analytics.
He has played key roles in Joint Venture and Merger & Acquisition projects in areas such as identifying opportunities, financial analysis, deal negotiations, implementation and integration.
TJ has managed international long distance products at Teleglobe International and marketed various print publications for Bennett, Coleman and Company Limited, India's largest media group.
